She stood calmly in the middle of the room,

beneath a tall ceiling

and a magnificent chandelier.

Aware of the entrapment of her soul,

accepting her destiny,

she was not whole in her body

unrooted,

though hematite shimmered below,

that deep brick red she could not claim.

Until that day arrived

a young man

with a distinguished face,

strikingly handsome,

brought to the hall by the advisor,

who seemed a reasonable man.

He was offered before the authorative king-man.

To her surprise and awe,

she realised

she was sharing that refined beauty

with same man,

A smile touched her lips.

He was the key to her freedom.

With astonishment,

she saw that he too was destined to bear the same pain.

The trap was not hers alone.

Without hesitation,

they become allies

and together they poisoned the poison,

until the king-man tasted the poison of his own making.

And then I woke, wondering

my other half is gay.

I was only able to trust him when I saw him on the same side.

Back to the dream.

the scene changed.

she was asked to pick the red stone among many.

The last gate to union is now open,

since the gate to the blackening is temporarily closed.

The black bird was transformed into her,

and she into the black bird.
